Fashion Photography-----Lighting techniques
During class last tuesday, we went into the studio and set up some lighting equipment, put a white back drop down, got a volunteer to model for us and started shooting to see what it would be like to blow out the white backround. I really like it, it makes for a clean crisp picture. This is one of the techniques clothing magazines use. Check it out :) It was alot of fun. I love the studio and cant wait to someday hopefully have one of my own :)

Valentines Day with my sweet little fam
First off I just have to say how lucky I am to be married to a man who loved me when I was 14, and here we are 10 years later still in love more than we were before. I really admire the man he is! and feel so greatful that I get to wake up to him everyday of the rest of my life....
Saturday I worked, and while I was at work, working in the lobby, the proflower lady came in with a huge green box. I said to my coworker " gee I wonder who go flowers this time." kinda in monotone voice because they had been coming all day! and to my suprise it said: MARIE EGGEN
I was in shock kinda because I've always told Erik not to buy me flowers because I think its a waste of money, and they just DIE! lol but I think I just said that in the past erik was in school, and we had a baby and I was barely working and well the truth is we were SO dirt FREAKIN poor! hahah and I didnt want him to feel bad.... but we always made those days special by the simple things and thats what I love most! But I have to admit it felt pretty dang good to get those flowers :) I think I had a smile on my face all day long!
After work we dressed livy up cute and took her to the park to play. and wow did she have a blast. When I go into her bedroom to wake her up in the morning, I kid you not, I shake her a little to wake her, one eye opens slightly and she smiles and the first words out of her mouth are "Paark, Sllllide" haha the park is what she dreams about at night, so this was alot of fun for her!
Then we went to Lucilles BBQ. Its the best BBQ in the sac area, yumm that was good!! and the day ended with a hefty bill and 3 full tummys :) and it was so nice to be able to do that this valentines day! we had a special time together as a family :)
